Your WEB Browser
Why You Must Refresh
Why You Must Delete Temp Files

Recording Studio client audio web pages change very frequently because we're adding audio, replacing audio or making other changes etc. everyday.  This means that your WEB Browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) may be displaying an old cached page rather than the updated page or that your Web Browser may be caching files (e.g. mp3 files) rather than pulling the latest file from the web server and playing it.   Web pages that aren't changing often don't have these issues.

Web Browsers to this to increase performance. Pulling files from the web server is slow. Displaying files from your computer disk drive is fast. Therefore, when your Web Browser accesses a web page the first time it will save the page to disk (hard drive) and keep it there for awhile (like 2 weeks). Later if you ask to see the page again, it can display it quickly by pulling the page from the hard drive instead of pulling the data from the web server somewhere on the internet.  This area of the disk where pages are stored temporarily is called the cache. Your Web Browser may do the same thing to mp3 files and so you may hear the old file when you click on it.

Internet Explorer:

Refresh Current Web Page: Click on menu View | Refresh
